Heart of a Champion–Strength! We are in a strength year, number 8 in numerology which is the Strength card in the tarot. What is this energy all about? It has many facets–endurance, capacity, and the power of will. What I have found is that everyone can admire strength when witnessed but only those who have developed their own inner strength understand what it takes to get there. Diamonds form under pressure. Muscles are built from being broken down and built up stronger. There are tests of strength, otherwise how would we even have anything to compare it to? How would we know it at all? We wouldn’t. The more experiences you go through in life, the more challenges you face head on, the more fear you dispel, the stronger you get. What doesn’t kill you, makes you bad ass.  🙂 I believe that. It brings out things in you you never dreamed were there. It puts you into direct conversation with the Divine, because that is where we pull true strength from. It does not come from the ego or the personality. It comes from life force energy, chi, prana, in other words–the Divine.

Newsletter–Love or Fear?

This week’s Energetic Forecast:
On Saturday we have the full moon in Pisces.  This is a cool one as it is conjunct Neptune and opposite the Sun and Jupiter in Virgo.  Pisces and Virgo are astrological opposites, Pisces is dreamy, spiritual, and sometimes ungrounded.  Virgo is practical, down to earth, ready to serve and help, and Virgo is also the sign of the healer.  My take is this full moon is about healing.  Healing that is coming to fruition in our dreams, in our creativity, or in our spiritual practice.  Let those emotions up and out.  Get in touch with the mystical side of them.  Then think about what you can do with that energy because Virgo wants to make it real.  How can it help others?  On Monday the 31st we also have Mars and Venus in exact conjunction in the sky, these are the masculine and feminine energies respectively, and they have been doing a very interesting dance this year.  Take this as your cue to unite these energies within you.  Overall this week is one of uniting energies that may at first be assumed to be in opposition, but what they need is a good balancing and blending, study the Temperance card in the Tarot as a good example.

We are at the heart of Venus retrograde. She is traveling the darkness of the underworld. This is 40 days and 40 nights in the wilderness. The work has to be done. We take it day by day, night by night. And we prepare to re-emerge in early September, even brighter than before. But in order to know the light, we have to be familiar with the darkness. We have to go within to really see the light that is “out there.” There are no shortcuts. There is no where to run, to turn and hide from the soul, the true self, and everything that gets in the way of our light shining. What can we do to ease this process?
